LAURIA Massimo

Full Professor of Technological and Environmental Design of Architecture.
He carries out teaching, scientific and research activities at the Department of Civil Engineering, Energy, Environment and Materials of the Mediterranean University of Reggio Calabria.
He investigates topics related to the transformation processes of the built environment, the Building Construction, the Management of the Building Process with attention to the management phase of the life cycle of buildings and, in particular, of Operation and Maintenance, O&M.
Since 2022 he has been Vice-Rector for Research and Technology Transfer of the Mediterranean University of Reggio Calabria.
He is the author of over 100 scientific products.
He is the scientific director of several research projects funded through competitive calls.
Since 2018 he has been co-founder and scientific director of the Academic Spinoff "Building Innovative Governance" BIG srl, which promotes the introduction of smart processes for the experimentation, implementation and dissemination of an innovative governance system for real estate assets.
He is a member of the Scientific Society of Architectural Technology, SITdA.
For the three-year periods 2017/2020 and 2020/2023 he is an elected member, with the role of Treasurer, of the Board.
Since 2017 he has been a member of the Editorial Board of the class A journals Anvur Techne and Agathòn.
He is a designated member of the Scientific Committees of several International Conferences.
He carries out teaching activities in University courses and laboratories, professional courses and first and second level University Masters of which he assumes, in several cases, the direction.
He is a teaching member of the PhD in Architecture of the Mediterranean University of Reggio Calabria.
