ROSACI Domenico

Domenico Rosaci is an Associate Professor of Information Processing Systems (SSD IINF/05-A) at the Department of Information, Infrastructure, and Sustainable Energy (DIIES) at the University of "Mediterranea" of Reggio Calabria. He obtained the National Scientific Qualification (ASN) for Full Professor in the field of ING-INF/05 Information Processing Systems in 2017. He holds a PhD in Electronic Engineering, earned in 1999 from the University of Reggio Calabria.
His research interests primarily focus on Distributed Artificial Intelligence (DAI), with a particular emphasis on Intelligent Web Systems.
Since 2022, he has consistently been included in the prestigious Stanford/Elsevier ranking of the Top 2% most cited scientists worldwide, for his entire career.
He has published over 180 scientific papers in prestigious international journals (such as ACM Transactions on Internet Technology, IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, ACM Transactions on Information Systems, ACM Transactions on Autonomous and Adaptive Systems, etc.) and in proceedings of major international conferences (such as ICDE, COOPIS, ODBASE, ECAI, etc.).
He is an Associate Editor of IEEE Access (IEEE, Q1 Scimago) and a member of the Editorial Board of Electronics (MDPI, Q2 Scimago) and the Journal of Universal Computer Science (J.UCS Consortium, Q3 Scimago). From 2017 to 2023, he was a member of the Editorial Board of The Computer Journal (Oxford Academic Press, Q2 Scimago).
He served as Co-General Chair of the XIV International Symposium on Intelligent Distributed Computing (IDC 2020) and Co-General Chair of the XVIII International Workshop "From Objects to Agents" (WOA 2017). He has been a member of numerous Program Committees for national and international conferences.
He has participated in various national research projects.
Since 2002, he has continuously taught several courses at different undergraduate and graduate programs at the University of Reggio Calabria.
