TECHNOLOGICAL TRANSFERRING
Mario Versaci, from 1710/2001 to 17/10/2013, as part of the PRIN 2009 project (Prot. 2009TCLKNF002), of which he was resposible for the Research Unit of the “Mediterranea” University of Reggio Calabria, for the development and realization of a hardware prototype for the automatic classification of defects on metallic materials using ultrasonic ttechniques.

Mario Versaci, from 01/07/2005 to 30/06/2006, participated in the development and construction of a hardware prototype for the automatic recognition of defects in ultrasonic signals in composite materials of aeronautical interest. This prototype was developed in collaboration with Aleni Aeronautica S.p.A. – Pomigliano d’Arco (NA), Italy (MIUR Project n. 12784, IMI File n. 69876, Code AX-UMR-53-RE01-1).

Mario Versaci contributed to the creation of the first spin-off of the “Mediterranea” University of Reggio Calabria (Italy) finalized, in 2004, with the establishment of the NEURATEK company, set up to carry out research, conception, design, production and/or marketing activities of instrumentation for non-destructive electromatnetic diagnosis applied to materials in civil and industrail fields.

Mario Versaci has participated in the development and implementation of a hardware prototype of a “Neuro-Fuzzy System for the Treatment of Environment Data, Modeling and Prediction of the Evolution of Urban Pollution Parameters”, Calpark Project 2003.
