COLISTRA Daniele

1985: Classical high school diploma.
1991: Degree in Architecture, Reggio Calabria.
1996: PhD in Survey and Representation (La Sapienza University of Rome).
1997: Two-year scholarship for post-doctoral research at the Faculty of Architecture of Reggio Calabria.
2000: Researcher, for the s.s.d. H11X (Drawing), at the Faculty of Architecture of Reggio Calabria.
2005: Associate professor at the Faculty of Architecture of Reggio Calabria.
2014: National Scientific Qualification as full professor for Sector 08/E1 – Drawing.
2024: Full professor in the CEAR-10/A – Drawing sector at the Department of Architecture and Design of the Mediterranean University of Reggio Calabria.

Since 2025, he has coordinated the PhD program in Architecture at the Mediterranea University of Reggio Calabria.
He founded and directs the Modeling Laboratory of the Department of Architecture and Design; with Domenico Mediati, he directs the Center for Studies on Geometry, Graphics, and Digital Culture. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Horcynus Orca Foundation.
He has carried out intensive management activities at his home university. His various roles include: Deputy Director of the Department from 2005 to 2012, and Rector's Delegate for Institutional Communication from 2010 to 2012.
He has assumed scientific responsibility for five research projects accepted for funding through competitive calls and has participated as a member of 20 funded projects. He has supervised over 50 degree theses in architecture and design, nine doctoral theses, and is the scientific director of research grants, master's degrees, and regional scholarships. In 2002, he received the Silver Plaque from the Italian Union for Drawing.
He has carried out teaching and research activities at highly qualified universities and research institutes.
