LAX Gianluca

Gianluca Lax is associate professor of computer science at the University of Reggio Calabria, Italy. In 2018, he got the habilitation as full professor of computer science by the Italian National Scientific Habilitation of the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research.

He published more than 150 papers (updated to May 2024) in top level international journals, such as VLDB Journal, Transaction on Service Computing, Information Sciences, Software - Practice and Experience, IEEE Intelligent Systems, IEEE Multimedia, International Journal of Human Computer Studies, International Journal of Information Security.

He was General Co-Chair of Int. Workshop on Frontiers in Availability, Reliability and Security (FARES from 2017 to 2024) and Variational Inequalities, Nash Equilibrium Problems and Applications (VINEPA 2018).

He was in the program committee of many conferences, among other: International Conference on Information Systems Security and Privacy (ICISSP from 2017 to 2022), Symposium on Advanced Database Systems (SEBD 2017), International Cross Domain Conference and Workshop (CD-ARES 2016), European Conference on Machine Learning and Principles and Practice of Knowledge Discovery in Databases (PKDD 2015), International Conference on Internet of Things and Cloud Computing (ICC 2016), International Conference on Electronic Commerce and Web Technologies (EC-WEB 2009 e EC-WEB 2010).

He participated in several research projects, among others:
- Responsible for the University of Reggio Calabria Unit of the project PNRR "Advanced and Quantum-safe Solutions for Digital Identity and digital Tracing"
