Pulselli Riccardo Maria

Riccardo Maria Pulselli, Architect, PhD in Environmental Sciences, is researcher and lecturer at the Mediterranean University of Reggio Calabria. He teaches “Concept Design” and “Sustainable Design” at the BSc of Design and “Eco-Design” at the MSc of Design for Mediterranean Cultures. He was visiting researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology - MIT (USA - 2005), Wageningen University (NL - 2012) and Technical University of Delft (NL – 2019). He is co-author, with Enzo Tiezzi, of “City Out of Chaos. Urban Self-organization and Sustainability” (WITpress, 2009), besides other scientific papers and books. He has studied and developed methods and models for investigating sustainability of regional systems, urban settlements, buildings and constructive technologies, agricultural systems, manufacturing design and renewable energy technologies. He is co-director of the Mediterranean Inclusive Design – MID Lab at the Mediterranean University – Dept. Architecture and Design.
