In the major Italian viticultural areas we are witnessing the passage from farming systems "traditional", with a low level of mechanization, to new systems are "fully mechanized" where the preparation is essential since transplant of rooted vine. In the present work are described briefly the main phases for the realization of a vineyard "traditional" (squaring, transplantation and staking) and compared with some of the most modern systems, as the methodologies laser and GPS.
