Ipermetropolis

The drawing is a free interpretation of the lemma "Metropolis" taken from the Treccani Dictionary (www.treccani.it - consulted on 17 May 2016). The graphic performance is part of an "illustrated dictionary" that includes works by important international artists such as: Eduardo Arroyo, Aldo Aymonino, Carmelo Baglivo, Piotr Barbarewic, Pablo Castro Di Obra, Wes Jones, Jamenez Lai, Hrvoje Njiric, Peanutz Architekten, Matteo Pericoli, Franco Purini, Francoise Roche, KlausToons and others. The drawing was exhibited in the exhibition "Drawn Theories / Teorie Disegnate", held at Salotto Longhena, Ca Pesaro - Galleria Internazionale d'Arte Moderna, Venice, from June 10 to July 3, 2016. The exhibition was organized by the research group composed of Pippo Ciorra, Francesco Garofalo, Sara Marini, Giovanni Corbellini, Alberto Bertagna, Giulia Menzietti, Francesca Pignatelli, and was curated by Sara Marini and Giovanni Corbellini. Subsequently, the exhibition was transferred to: the Underground Archaeological Space of SAS, Trento, from June 13 to July 5, 2018; the CANTIERE Gallery - Contemporary Art Picena, Ascoli Piceno, from April 9 to April 3, 2018; the Polo Museale della Basilicata Palazzo Lanfranchi - Sala delle Arcate, Matera, from March 23 to May 7, 2018.
