The City between Social Rejection and Reception. Educational Design as a Promoter of Good Inclusive Practices

Throughout history, the gaze resting on diversity, not only on individuals with disabilities, has moved from an original situation of marginalization and exclusion to today’s reality where we increasingly speak of integration and inclusion. Educational design – availing itself of “pedagogical” mediators such as literature, cinema, music, photography, capable of making familiar what we tend to escape because of its diversity – can become a tool capable of promoting good practices of social inclusion.
