Der Unglücklichste / Die Wechselwirtschaft: Die Autonomie des Ästhetischen angesichts der Langeweile

Capitolo di libro
Data di Pubblicazione:
2017
Abstract:
Although immediacy and heteronomy are the two main characteristics of the aesthetic in the second part of Kierkegaard's Either – Or, the representation of the aesthetic in the writing "Crop Rotation" in the first part of Either – Or is completely different. The essay tries to build autonomy in aesthetic life. As a “theory of social prudence”, this little treatise also outlines an ethic of aesthetic life. The author of "Crop Rotation" is the bearer of a radical philosophy of finitude that develops an art of sustainability in human experience. In addition, the aesthetician tries to build an ethic of free will in a post-metaphysical world through a theory of boredom. Boredom is an inverse sublimity, and the radically finite wisdom doctrine based on it is an alternative to belief.
