Assessment Methods

Assessment Methods:

• Final Technical Report: Students will prepare a detailed report summarizing the knowledge acquired during the seminars and the tour, highlighting the connections between theory and practice.

- To pass the exam with a minimum score of 18-19, the student's knowledge/skills in the main course topics must be at least at the basic elementary level;

- A score between 20 and 23 is awarded when the student has adequate knowledge of the topics but limited mastery, satisfactory command of language, and correct interpretation skills;

- A score between 24-27 is awarded when the student demonstrates good knowledge of the topics with a good level of mastery, good command of language, correct and confident interpretation skills, and a good ability to correctly apply most of the knowledge to solve the proposed problems;

- A score between 28-30 is awarded when the student demonstrates complete and in-depth knowledge of the topics, excellent command of language, complete and effective interpretation skills, and the ability to independently apply the knowledge to solve the proposed problems;

- A grade of 30 cum laude is awarded when the student demonstrates comprehensive, in-depth, and critical knowledge of the topics covered, excellent command of language, complete and original interpretative skills, and the ability to independently apply knowledge to solve the proposed problems.

- A grade of Insufficient is awarded when the student does not possess an acceptable understanding of the topics covered during the course.

Organized in collaboration with the University engineering laboratories, the seminars will address topics such as:

• Advanced manufacturing technologies

• Innovative materials

• Rapid prototyping and 3D printing

• Control and automation systems

• Electrochemical corrosion protection systems.

Each seminar will include a theoretical part and a practical demonstration.

2. Guided Tour of a Mechanical Engineering Company (6 hours)

The tour will allow students to directly observe:

• Real-world production processes

• Quality management systems

• Practical applications of the technologies studied

During the tour, students will interact with industry professionals, gaining a deeper understanding of the company's operational and organizational dynamics.
