Syllabus

Course Objectives

The course aims to transfer the fundamental principles of Classical Physics to students and apply them in sports. The course covers the fundamental topics of Statics, Kinematics and Dynamics with hints of Thermology. Tools are provided to apply the theoretical concepts to solving simple problems in mechanics, both from the dynamic and energetic point of view, and in thermology.


Course Prerequisites

Knowledge of elementary mathematics (algebra, geometry, hints of trigonometry, hints of analytical geometry)

Assessment Methods

The exam consists of a structured written test (multiple choice or open-ended questions) to assess the student's ability to apply the knowledge acquired during the course, in particular to verify their theoretical understanding of the fundamental principles of physics and their ability to apply these principles to solving simple problems.
