Sport conveys the evolutionary dynamics of spaces through the Codes of Solidarity and Sharing.

(Emilio Faroldi - Sport: Widespread Urban Infrastructure)

In the history of civilizations, sports venues represent a fundamental element in expressing the significance that the culture of sport and leisure play in representing the identity of civilizations.

The relationship between these activities and the definition of dedicated spaces in urban contexts has therefore always represented a point of interpretation and understanding of the cultural expression and soul of a community.

The architecture of sport—an element of urban infrastructure—helps delineate the articulation of a territorial system, representing one of the most effective endogenous social glues of the urban organism, a true driving force and organizer of the city of yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

Sport channels the evolutionary dynamics of the contemporary city through the codes of solidarity, knowledge, and innovation: between the value of hospitality and multi-directional objectives, between the richness of diversity and the interpretation of context.

Sports Infrastructures cannot be conceived exclusively as theaters of Gesta, but as active elements within a social, economic, and cultural fabric.
