Syllabus

Course Objectives

The course begins by introducing the stylised facts that emerge from business cycle theories. It then presents the concepts used for analysis (preferences, technology, equilibrium) and the dynamic methods required to describe them. The course will be particularly devoted to the study of dynamic models of real business cycles. In the final part of the course, typical topics of environmental economics will be covered with an evolutionary economics approach.

The course will have a specialised module dedicated to artificial intelligence and economics
