Comunicare il Bene Culturale. Tutela e Valorizzazione

The safeguard of the 'cultural capital' arises from its early economical nature, from the fact that the cultural heritage, landscape, urban planning etc.. enter directly into the body of the "wealth of the nation." It is therefore a major economic interest of a country, even before the ideological approach, to protected its cultural heritage. The 'Tutor' operates in the fundamental interest of the person protected with the primary goal to preserve and enhance its property.Cultural heritage must be recognized, preserved and protected when transmitted to posterity, but they must also be disclosed, used and made available and accessible. One of the frontiers in this direction is the issue of communication of cultural heritage itself.This paper describes some experimental tools to explain and make evident the multiple interactions that ‘happen’ between that cultural good and the social, cultural, historical structure that has generated it by organizing integrated knowledge systems that can define models and interfaces that are light and comprehensive, integrating different technologies and resulting in a considerable abstraction of the contents of the database, enabling both reuse of the same data in different contexts and the ability to implement new ‘levels of depth’ without modifying the structure of the project itself, but simply expanding its content.These models can then be inserted in various contexts of communication and management: web advertising, television formats, "full immersive" environments, but can also be directly used as vessels and accumulators of knowledge, useful for that interdisciplinary cognitive process that generates the synthesis of the components that lie behind the reasons of protection and preservation, on one side, and the enhancement and an even wider enjoyment, which is necessary (and perhaps, for once, good enough) to trigger a virtuous flywheel in the management of cultural heritage.
