abstract:
Orientations, now consolidated, sustainable energy in buildings, the availability of new materials and construction systems through materials science, adaptive technologies transferred to industry constructively contribute today to create the basis for innovations in the construction process, which has become obsolete , compared with new construction paradigms.
The paper describes how the materials science, a discipline now more than ever, evolving, tends to "innovate" the industry introducing new technologies and materials with advanced performance, with the need to reduce consumption of finite natural resources and attention to the environment. In response to the need to reduce energy and material in the construction industry, have dealt with new paradigms related to the lightweight construction, the speed of installation, connections, dry, transferred from other sectors such as automobiles, and interpreted in a technical/constructive way.
