Architetture Amazigh dell’Alto Atlante

The spontaneous architectures of Maghreb, done by the Berbers on the slopes of the Atlas Mountains aren’t very well represented in the UNESCO Sites List. The tighremt and ksour are made with simple constructive techniques and local materials. They are very sensitive to the weather conditions. For this reason it is very important to classify and survey all this architecture. Awareness and knowledge could be the first steps for a sustainable economic and touristic improvement.
