The convulsive and alarming scenario that unfolded following the raging health emergency requires, among other things, a reflection on the tasks and responsibilities of the head Teacher, given that they must simultaneously ensure the practical exercise of the right to study and guarantee the protection of the health of teachers and students, applying an increasingly complex jumble of rules aimed at containing infections. The old and new critical issues of the school seem to have been exasperated by the pandemic, which has made endemic problems in the school world even more complex and has generated completely new ones. These pages, without claiming to be exhaustive, aim to analyze the new responsibilities of head Teacher, the critical issues arising from them with particular reference to the effects of homeschooling on the vulnerable people.
