"Il futuro del passato e Opzione materiali” in Aversa M., Giglio F., "Nuovi modelli per l’abitare", dossier

The paper describes a new social phenomenon related to the morphological additions of existing buildings in the city, due to the need of new living spaces, using lightweight technologies, dry, removed and replaced. In particular, the personal contribution describes, through projects, materials and technologies appropriate to the mobility of living of the twenty-first century and that can be expressed in two main indicators: the reversibility of the interchangeability of components and systems. The reading of the projects analyzed through the indicators of reversibility and substitutability provides the opportunity to investigate building systems used, the connections, functional autonomy, the testing of materials, through four control factors: ease of operation and flexibility of use as regards the reversibility, reusability and management for the substitution. The technological aspect investigated, is supplemented by boxes deepening of neo-avant-garde Futurist projects.
