Note su Giuseppe Dalla Vedova e il «Giornale del Museo d’Istruzione e di Educazione». Tra pedagogia e didattica

Founded by Ruggiero Bonghi (1874), the Museum of Instruction and Education has been directed at first by geographer Giuseppe Dalla Vedova (1875-1877) and then by philosopher and educationalist Antonio Labrio-la (1877-1891). This paper is a part a research project in progress and focuses its attention on the museum’s direction of Giuseppe Dalla Vedova. Particularly, the author of the essay examines the contribution made by Dalla Vedova and by the museum’s periodical – after the unification of Italy – to the process of freeing from provincialism of the pedagogical and geographical knowledge.
