Changing Landscapes. Mediterranean Sensitive Areas Design

"Changing Landscape: Mediterranean Sensitive Areas Design" wanted to bring on an applied research field the topic of landscape design for the implementatio of the ELC-European Landscape Convention -in the compelling need to define management, innovation and possible experimentations, useful in addressing to organic and strategic decisions for a landscape quality diffused throughout the territory. The application range is the whole Mediterranean area: the ports, the straits, the depressed marginal or ex-infrastructural areas, in the project and in raising anvironmental awarness on landscape values. To the marginal, critical, inconsistent places is recognized a strong landscape potential in increasing the aesthetic-cultural and ecologic-environmental awarness capable to evaluating them as a 'new centrality system' . European y extra-european Universities, working together in an international and interdiciplinary projectual experience, of investigation and design.
