It is unquestionable that safety and healthy environments have become a necessity, therefore the text’s aim is to encourage the planning and employment of ordinary devices which preserve and support safety conditions relating to the building’s location, the activities carried out inside the premises and the developing conditions. The purpose is to help architectsrduring the estimate and management of health risks, mainly concerning indoor air pollution and suggest efficient procedures as to prevention, control and revision. The originality of the text is that the book suggests a revision of the Building Code by a problematic, not informative means, which is theoretically different and effectively alternative to the one in use. The purpose is to take it back to its original building supervising and managing role, so as to examine intervention requests and building quality inspections. This goal can only be accomplished by collaborative efforts, following practical ordinary common procedures amongst different organisations, operating in the same territory with different technical, building, hygienic and sanitary areas of expertise.
