Marcello Sestito Architettando-Artichettando 1976-2016

The text collects the works carried out in forty years of activity carried out in the name of a constant utopian and imaginative vision, with the naive aim of modifying, if not the world around us, at least our being, often circumscribed in the narrow context of the self. The works carried out both in the field of art and architecture have always had as an ideal background the idea that we could use the two disciplinary fields as bolts capable of unhinging open questions, unresolved knots of composing, revisited in a sort of an imaginative furor that linked science and knowledge, always partial, utopia and realism, composition and counter-composition, art and its use. Drawing as a tool of investigation did the rest. Attracted by it, I have been fascinated by it since childhood, it has followed my steps, sometimes anticipating them. With it I have discussed in the silence of spaces or in deafening places, being able to trust in it, as if it were a form of personification.
