abstract:
The ksour are fortified granaries in use in sub-Mediterranean region. The three Ksour of Jelidet, O.Boujlida, O.Abdelwahed and O.M 'Hemed, are located south of Tataouine on the slopes of Jebel Abiodh. They are an example of composition and building unit. They have been built in the same period and belong to the same clan. Surveying, design and analysis were used as tool for knowledge of Ksar Ouled Boujlida. Ksar O.Boujlida becomes a model to compare with other ksour of the pre-Sahara area.
