Environmental, digital, demographic and social transitions require a review of territorial strategies for sustainable development. Regenerating cities and territories means rebalancing relationships and resources with an integrated approach based on cooperation between institutions, businesses, academia, civil society and the environment. This process aims at local resilience, reducing inequalities and enhancing marginal areas, both at urban and territorial level, as innovative ecosystems. The volume, the result of research activities by the two authors, explores inclusive regeneration as an evolutionary and collective paradigm, divided into three thematic axes, in line with the 2030 Agenda, the Green Deal and European cohesion policies.
