The book collects the outcomes of the PNRR project ‘Project for the removal of physical, cognitive and sensory barriers in the Archaeological Park of the Aeolian Islands Museo Luigi Bernabò Brea’. The project, the result of a collaboration between the Lipari Museum, the ‘Mediterranea’ University of Reggio Calabria, the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan and the Naos Lab company, envisages interventions to remove physical and perceptive barriers for a more inclusive enjoyment of the historical and cultural heritage. In particular, new types of enhancement and tools for an expanded, interactive and inclusive accessibility of the museum's rich heritage have been tested, using devices for haptic perception and the most advanced survey, digitisation and communication technologies through ICT (Information and Communications Technology).
