The research PRIN introduced in the text, proposes setting up a technical informative system on some “new” materials; chosen among those
that, nowadays, turn out poorly consolidated in the use and about which the changeover from research to common applications is not entirely carried out. The research work took
place at some specific scientific structures, that were intermediary and third part in comparison to production and designers; interfacing with production sector, gaining, pro-
cessing and filing information really “useful” for a checked and reliable elaboration of the project. The Operational Unit of University of Reggio Calabria has been involved in aluminium leagues for structural uses.
