Based on studies carried out previously (see the essay on the city of Nafta and Gardaia studied through the concept of urban matrix), the theme of this research was to study the city-mountain oases of southern Tunisia. The analyzes and feeding of information through the design and the relief allowed some thoughts and considerations on urban architecture that is located in a natural oasis located in a stunning landscape and unpredictable. The research is based on the study and analysis of the urban fabric of these cities, with the specific intent to analyze the shape, in order to highlight the archetypes rficorrenti construction, so as to limit, in the local context that supports these cities, those characters unique plant-Islamic urban medioterranei. The word architecture has to do with the term arche, beginning, beginning, foundation, which in our case can be related with the notion of structure, in order to compare each of these major categories that could become the true paradigms for recognition of Mediterranean architecture. Therefore the intention of this paper is to study the architectural phenomenon taking into account all the obvious cases where elements of architecture come into play in a uniform structure where you can track down those phenomena and elements typical of a context "Mediterranean ".
