abstract:
We now complete a long series of investigations on the Mediterranean markets. We close with a final research which themetries to recount an insight into daily life through the description of some tools.Tools that always accompany the activities, habits, operational needs, repetitive or precision movements, strength butalso skilled movements in a word tools that embody a daily way of doing business.Tools often marginal but certainly necessary to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, weighing, cutting and stacking thegoods. Items unequivocally linked to the food trade and which have always been the "core" of trade. We will deal in particularwith two families of artifacts, bailers and knives, utensils among the oldest and most popular in the history of food markets.Beyond the obvious tasks of detection and representation of the objects investigated, particular attention will be paid toergonomic observations that, in our opinion, represent one of the central aspects in the evaluation of the processes of design, development, production and use of the examined objects
