abstract:
The introductory contribution to the editing of the volume in the series "Sustainable Innovation Design", of which the author is director, opens on the topics of interest of scientific research and technology transfer conducted for an off-site housing module, with zero consumption and impact zero, for resilient scenarios for specific context, commissioned with the research project by the company De Masi mechanical workshops to the research group. Studies that are part of the experimental and pre-industrial development and that in this first text define the paradigms and advanced design in the innovation process from the proof of concept phase to the MVP phase. The advanced examination is perfectly related to the Horizon 2020 targets, for KET's advanced materials and advanced manufacturing systems and for the S3 Region of Calabria, on sustainable construction and smart manufacturing. The level of specialization necessary to realize the S2_Home type, through construction works in the workshop, transfers that typical approach of innovation processes, capable of becoming experimental practices but also new now how, thanks to the transfer of the knowledge of its operators to all levels (network of competences).
