The subject of the paper is the question of local awareness of opportunities in terms of knowledge and the push towards abandonment and / or "modernist" transformation of the territories. The theme is closely linked to the process of training people who are increasingly becoming, or there are pressures of various nature to make them, inhabitants instead of cum-cives, ie citizens. Issues that are particularly present in the small or micro-realities that characterize Calabria.What path is it possible for overcoming these difficulties? Are there examples of "good practices" in this regard?Thus the paper, in the broader context of the argument, pones these questions arise and attempts to bring back original testimonies and paths. With the idea that the urban centers are more or less "internal" - and the entire Region as a whole is attributable to this "category" - they must be able to make social, environmental and economic networks: an ecological original network.
