abstract:
This quote by Italo Calvino, focuses attention on the evaluation of the quality of the city through the relationship that it establishes with the people that populate it; the affirmation of the "demand for city", of desires, dreams and all the needs expressed by its citizens. Cities are built by man, but they do not seem designed to satisfy man's needs; they are organized in spaces and times that prevent the relationship between the individual and the environment and deny socialization especially of "weak users". The right to "non-exclusion" goes through a transversal design approach that considers the uniqueness of each individual.
