In the past the little centres on the Italian territoryformed, and in some cases still form, an organic ensembletogether with the landscape and the surroundingcountryside.So it is important to describe and analyse these centresbecause they are the essence of our urban culture. Nowthey are suffering from lack of interest and for theabandonment of their populace. These little, “minor”,cities are a big heritage, impossible to maintain like amuseum, so the EU strategies are related to communicationand re-generation.
