Syllabus

Course Objectives

Cultural roots and identity of constitutional State. The course, held in a disciplinary approach, offers a supplement to traditional constitutional notions and allows us to look at the constitutional state as a "non-violent" social organization


Course Prerequisites

Successful attendance requires a good knowledge of history and philosophy and general culture. Passing the Constitutional Law exam is recommended.

Students tutorial and preliminary colloquia


Assessment Methods


Oral examination. Attending students may participate to a self-managed seminar on specific issues

The evaluation is out of thirty: from 18/30 to 30/30 with honors, according to the following scheme:




30 - 30 cum laude: complete, in-depth and critical knowledge of the course topics, excellent language skills, complete and original interpretative ability, full ability to autonomously apply the knowledge acquired;

26 - 29: complete and in-depth knowledge of the course topics, good command of language, complete and effective ability to interpret and autonomously apply the knowledge acquired;

24 - 25: knowledge of the course topics with a good level of learning, good language skills, correct interpretative ability, ability to correctly apply most of the knowledge acquired;

21 - 23: adequate knowledge of the course topics, but lack of mastery of them, more than sufficient language skills, interpretative ability, limited ability to autonomously apply the knowledge acquired;

18 - 20: basic knowledge of the main topics, basic knowledge of technical language, sufficient interpretative ability, ability to apply the basic knowledge acquired;

Insufficient: insufficient knowledge of the course topics.

Scopo precipuo dell'insegnamento è far conoscere le radici culturali e la natura dello Stato costituzionale. In particolare, la disciplina, con l'ausilio di un approccio interdisciplinare (oltre che giuridico, di antropologia giuridica, teoria generale, filosofia, politologia, ecc.), consente l'integrazione delle nozioni costituzionalistiche tradizionali.
