Knowledge of the language and symbology used to work with sets, mastery of the tools of Arithmetic (natural, integer, rational, real, powers, roots, fractions and decimal numbers); Appropriate use of operations. Basic notions of probability and statistics.
Basic knowledge of mathematics: Notions on Set theory. Algebraic polynomials, polynomial decomposition, first and second degree algebraic equations.
Lesson with use of digital whiteboard, carrying out exercises on the blackboard, projection of slides linked to the reference book.
Use of the teams platform to provide students with teaching material and slides of the lessons held.
Carrying out of exercises proposed by the students.
The written test evaluates the critical skills achieved by the student in framing the topics covered by the course and the methodological rigor of the resolutions proposed in response to the questions formulated, which concern both the performance of exercises and theoretical topics.
This test shall last a maximum of two hours. The oral exam is not mandatory and consists of an interview on the topics on the theoretical topics that are part of the course program. The student's ability to communicate the notions acquired through an adequate scientific language and the ability to expose is evaluated.

Algebra and Arithmetic: Number sets (set of natural, relative, rational and real numbers). Definition of funcyion of successor. Elementary properties of numerical sets, division and remainder classes. Rational numbers (fractions) and representation of operations through diagrams. Notes on proportions and percentages.
Probability Calculus and Statistics: First elements of probability (finite case). Applications and troubleshooting. Elements of combinatorics. Elements of statistics: frequencies, average, fashion, median. Performance of exercises.
The reception is held both in presence mode, on the days indicated on the subject web page, and in electronic mode on dates to be agreed with the teacher
