Abstract:
We investigate the problem to nd the dening equations of the Hankel algebraic variety
H(r; n) of the Hankel r-planes of the projective space Pn. We describe an algorithm which,
provided of a positive output, gives the dening relations of H(2; n), starting from the
binomial relations of the toric deformation of H(2; n).
