abstract:
In the context of the dissemination of cultural heritage, the new technologies available to operators allow the integrated use of detection techniques of Geomatics in order to provide the user with the most information. The idea is to provide some sort of virtual guide useful to the localization, the disclosure of all the artistic and historical notions, and indication in tourism in order to make more accessible our cultural heritage. Particularly high performance and expeditious, in relation to the modeling of the historical monument, appears the use of software based on algorithms of "Computer Vision/Structure from Motion" SfM, able to generate 3D models expeditious useful to the reconstruction of the object of interest. The purpose of the proposed application is therefore to create a WebGis platform of convergence through the establishment of a well-designed geodatabase, data from GPS surveys and photogrammetric and all information historical/artistic/cultural relevant to any subject of interest. The WebGis is designed for the dissemination of information on the Internet, on mobile devices and mobile phones with Android operating system, so that each user can easily find information wherever he is.
