Consapevolezza e trasmissione dei valori nella Cattedra UNESCO Mediterranean Landscape in Context of Emergency

The UNESCO Chair Mediterranean Landscape in Context of Emergency mission is addressed towards the reasons for refugees receiving and their social inclusion in relation to the processes of modification of territories and identities. This is implemented through proposals and strategies useful to promote adequate awareness-raising processes towards the themes of the safeguard and valorization of heritage and territory. Through the participation of the communities involved, access to basic services is guaranteed, such as quality education, the instruction of good practices to strengthen international cooperation, in order to support and strengthen the work of local institutions. The actions of the UNESCO Chair start from the expression of local culture and change according to the territorial contexts in which the reception, if not guided and accepted, would lead to processes of material marginalization, affecting the social identity and the landscape.
